A Maryland Native , coach Wilmer Rubi moved to Texas in 2021 in search of a better life through the Marine Corps, in which he has actively been serving in since 2018. Coach Wilmer started his soccer career at the age of 4 , Through various academies and club soccer at the highest level, He got the chance to attend and play for NAIA Division 1 school Washington Adventist University. After moving to Texas , coach wilmer decided to continue playing at a high level through Semi pro leagues such as the UPSL and MPL and currently plays for MPL and GCPL side, Sharp Keys FC. Coach Wilmer strives to use his experience and dedication to coach the next generation to play at a high level and plans on being a full time soccer coach when done with military service.
